Littletown Farm is a traditional working Lakeland farm offering bed & breakfast accommodation in the beautiful, unspoilt Newlands valley. The bed and breakfast is in the heart of the Lake District national park. The Farmhouse is in a unique location nestled at the foot of Catbells and was the inspiration behind Beatrix Potters Mrs Tiggy Winkle stories. The beautiful Northern fells surround the accommodation providing spectacular scenery and remarkable tranquillity. Littletown Farm Bed and Breakfast is an ideal retreat to get away from it all and offers outdoor enthusiasts direct access to the fells without having to set foot on a tarmac road! Maiden Moor, Dalehead, Robinson and Causey Pike are all within easy walking distance of the accommodation. The Farms unique location ensures that your stay with us will be a peaceful and unforgettable experience.
The Farmhouse has a licensed bar, large dining room, comfortable TV lounge and large enclosed garden. For those that cannot leave their work behind the accommodation provides wi-fi access free of charge. Each bedroom has its own stunning view looking directly onto the fells, after a days walking or sightseeing relax and enjoy a peaceful night in one of our comfortable rooms before waking to a traditional Farmhouse breakfast Cumberland sausage, English Bacon, Our Own Free Range Eggs, Black pudding & More! Packed lunches can be arranged if required. For special occasions or larger parties home cooked meals can be provided by Sarah who will be happy to discuss your requirements prior to booking.
Newlands Valley is situated 4 miles from the beautiful market town of Keswick, and only 20 miles West of Penrith and the M6 making the bed and breakfast an ideal stop off point for those of you travelling north or south.
